The Bletchingley brothers who have had two ‘Number 1’ albums
Bletchingley; a quiet historic village in Surrey home to just a few thousand people enjoying life in its many Medieval and grade listed buildings. In a traditionally local area where everywhere knows everyone, you might be surprised about the two brothers making noise right under your nose, starting from a studio above their father’s auction house in the High Street.
Disclosure, AKA brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence, 21 and 24, have risen to fame in recent years. They’ve had two number 1 UK albums, been nominated for Brit and Grammy Awards, worked with a host of famous musicians, performed at Glastonbury and embarked on a world wide tour.
Still haven’t heard of them? How about this:
The duo crafted their art at the nearby Reigate Grammar School and Guy used to teach guitar in the town itself where previous musical exports include none-other than dance pioneer Fatboy Slim. The Bletchingley auction house enabled them to pick up a few bargains in the past and allowed one of the pair to do his year 10 work experience there where he met David Dickinson during the filming of Bargain Hunt. Although now worldwide stars who have amassed an enormous 356,154,943 YouTube views, the pair have been hesitant to step into the limelight and are extremely humble but many people online want them to come back to Reigate and show off their celeb status!
@disclosure I beg you come back to Reigate and perform for us

Well, we’d like to see them come back and perform at The Bletchingley Arms perhaps!
